If you send invoices, credit memos and reminders from Business Central, there are new improvements that make everyday finance and document work easier. We have refined both Dokumentpakke and Vision e-Boks, so your documents reach the customer correctly – every time. Here are the most important updates.
Dokumentpakke
If you have customers in the Nordic region, Dokumentpakke can now print invoices, credit memos, reminders and account statements in Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish. The language is selected automatically based on the customer's language code, so you avoid manual switching.
We have also fixed the interest calculation on issued reminders. Previously, the interest amount could be multiplied by the number of lines when a reminder contained extra text or fee lines. Interest is now calculated correctly, so your reminders always show the right amount.
On the account statement, the Only open entries filter now uses the remaining amount instead of the open flag. This means that fully applied entries no longer appear, and partially applied entries are included as they should be.
Several improvements make the documents look better and more precise:
- Wider address fields: each address line now supports up to 100 characters on the company, customer and delivery address, so long names and addresses are not cut off – across quotes, order confirmations, proforma invoices, draft invoices, shipments and purchase documents.
- Correct totals with prices including VAT: the total amount, VAT amount and total including VAT are now calculated correctly for customers and vendors that use prices including VAT.
- Document text per document type: start and end text can be set up individually for each document type, so quotes, orders, invoices, proforma invoices and return orders each get their own text.
For developers, there is also a new integration event that lets other extensions customize the payment ID before it is generated, and the Append Doc. Type Specifier setting is now read correctly from the setup. In addition, a range of quality improvements arrive with updated tooltips, teaching tips and context-sensitive online help in Danish and English.
Vision e-Boks
If you run Business Central on-premises, you can now use the OneTooX test environment. The Test Environment setting forces the sandbox endpoint regardless of environment type, so you can test your shipments safely before they go live.
We have also removed unwanted spaces: leading and trailing spaces are now trimmed automatically from the file name uploaded to OneTooX, which prevents delivery problems. Finally, the new OnBeforeGetRemoteFileName event lets developers customize the file name during upload.
