What actually happens?
Today, the connection between VisionTime and your Outlook calendar runs via EWS.
When Microsoft shuts down EWS, this connection will no longer work
This means that holidays and tasks will no longer sync with Outlook
if you are using a VisionTime version older than October 2026.
What do you need to do?
You need to make sure your VisionTime version is from October 2026 (or newer). If you do not use the Outlook integration in VisionTime, you will not be affected by the above. You should contact VisionPeople so we can assess whether you are using EWS in your current VisionTime, and so we can put a plan in place for your solution and how you use it. We recommend that you get in touch with us now so we can plan the transition together, before Microsoft gradually shuts down EWS access in October 2026..
