When you work with warehousing, shipments and projects, your tools simply need to work with Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV) without getting in the way. That is why we have rolled out a range of improvements to our warehouse and logistics apps that make everyday work easier for you, both on the floor and in the office. Here are the most important updates.
VisionLogistics
We have fixed how parcel updates from LogiSnap are matched. Previously the system could get it wrong when the response contained several fields \NNo key, so your parcel lines always land exactly where they should.
At the same time we have added context-sensitive online help in Danish and English that you can open directly inside the app. On top of that, we have improved tooltips and translations so they follow Microsofts Business Central standards, and we have tightened up code quality and documentation.
VisionScan
Have you ever stood with a scanner in your hand and needed a quick answer? Now you can open help for VisionScan directly in Business Central. When you choose help on a VisionScan page or on the fields VisionScan adds to the standard pages, it opens exactly the article you are on or goods receipt, shipping, counting, project consumption and photo documentation.
VisionScan now also speaks Swedish. Fields, actions and pages are translated so your Swedish-speaking colleagues can work in their own language.
We have also made it easy to keep up with the news: on the setup page you will now find a Whats New action, and after an update you are greeted with the latest changes which you can always revisit via the Whats New button on the Settings page.
Finally, we have solved two annoying camera bugs: the scanner now restarts correctly when you rotate the device, and it automatically starts again when the app resumes from the background on all platforms.
VisionSupply
For those of you who manage projects, we have cleaned up several details around invoicing. When you create a project from a template, the new project now gets the correct delivery address from the customers sell-to address instead of an incorrect address of its own and existing projects are corrected automatically on upgrade.
Distributed project invoices now keep the correct dimensions from the underlying entries, and with combined invoicing per bill-to customer each line ends up with the right paying customer. That gives you invoices you can rely on.
The OIO part of VisionSupply has had some love too: FTP upload of processed OIO documents now works with all types of file storage, and there is now online help in Danish and English for VisionSupply for OIO directly from the pages. Finally, you can now open Consumption Setup directly from the task lines on the project card without the detour via a separate list.
